Game of Throne’s cover by Lindsey Stirling

As the fantasy series Game of Thrones continues to thrill audiences, one fine violinist Lindsey Stirling pays homage to this HBO’s piece of work by creating a cover for its soundtrack. The 26 year American violinist was once a quarter finalist in the show America’s Got Talent.

Together with Peter Hollens, they have created a cover that only an A team would. Hollens’ humming does justice to Lindsey’s expertise with the violin. This cover gets a lot of things right, from the medieval setting, the costume and Lindsey Stirling’s platinum blond hair. It is interesting that she chose Daenerys Targaryen. While the Houses of Starks, Baratheons, Lannisters and the Targaryens are battling for the control of the iron throne, Lindsey is Coming (Winter is Coming). And for those constantly gritting their teeth as they watch Game of Thrones, spoiler alert: there is no sexposition in this cover. You can watch the cover by clicking below.

About sensoria300

I harness words, I thrive on them. I tell stories. I am dreamer, sometimes a poet but mostly I am a Game of Thrones fanatic. Lady Olenna, Lyanna Mormont and Arya Stark are my spirit animals.
