Forgiving other…

Forgiving others is easy, the hardest part is forgiving ourselves. We would rather blame ourselves for the wrongs we have done and let them gnaw at our conscience for eternity. Somehow the guilt we feel convinces us that we deserve the brutality of self-loathsomeness. Surely, how can we feel worthy of self absolution if we cannot get past the guilt? It never leaves us alone, it clings and it claws, always reminding us of our past iniquities.
