Illusion

Kisses into a memory
Fragments of fading reality
Coalescing into a romantic fantasy
Where he sneaks at will

To savour once more the moisture of her lips
To channel her indomitable spirit that pulsates in her bosom
To be ensnared by her blue gaze drawn from the ocean
To dance with her shadow, the reward of a glowing moon

She crawls into a song
A love poem, the quiet whispers of a pen
But her face is changing
Distortion of perfection as faces overlap on faces

Her face cascading into a dark hole
Where love is betrayed, trodden
And memories are stolen from a grasp
She’s gone, she’s lost, she doesn’t exist

About sensoria300

I harness words, I thrive on them. I tell stories. I am dreamer, sometimes a poet but mostly I am a Game of Thrones fanatic. Lady Olenna, Lyanna Mormont and Arya Stark are my spirit animals.
